Timbuktu is located on 50 acres surrounded by beautiful farmland, stunning mountains, wildlife and the pristine crystal clear waters of Kootenay Lake, British Columbia.
In 2007 Timbuktu was created as a space and platform for people to gather and learn from each other, for people to grow, get involved and inspired, fulfill their potential and find self-realization. The land has been used for healing in the past and we wish to continue honoring this tradition.
We provide unique spaces for outdoor and indoor classes, seminars, workshops and ceremonies. The Mandala Guesthouse, artistic and unique in its elegance, is Timbuktu's newest addition. There is a private house available for volunteers who wish to contribute their efforts by living and working the Timbuktu vision.
As well, we host a variety of Timbuktu events on a regular basis.
You can help make Timbuktu evolve and become an inspired place for people to gather and implement creative forces of change through the healing arts, social-political action and environmental awareness.
