mandala guesthouse
Our newest addition, the Mandala Guesthouse, was completed in 2009. This unique architechture is a beautiful round structure nestled within a lush cedar forest. The covered deck overlooks the horse pastures with a beautiful view of the mountains and Kootenay Lake.
Timbuktu Mandala Guesthouse is able to sleep up to 10 people or more on request. With its four individually designed bedrooms, three bathrooms and a full kitchen opening onto a 500-sqft common room, it makes a perfect getaway for family, friends and guests.
The inside welcomes you with its organic form reflected throughout the house. The circular hallway connects the bedrooms and bathrooms with the heartcenter of the house, the open common room with its artisan designed kitchen. This space is completely surrounded by windows with a high vaulted ceiling and to keep you cozy, a stone masonry fireplace. There are two mexican tiled bathrooms and a special "spa soaker room" for a relaxing bath at the end of your day.
The Mandala Guesthouse may be rented out privately as a unique and relaxing place for your family vacation or special occasion. The rooms can also be rented on a individual basis in traditional guesthouse style.
The Seminar House may be rented out in conjunction with the Mandala Guesthouse. For bookings or more information please E-mail us at info[at]tb2.ca.
