It has been our vision since the very beginning to share the beauty of this land with others - to offer a sanctuary where individuals come together - not only to participate in seminars, workshops or classes- but also to experience Timbuktu by being actively involved in it's ongoing creation.
For the budget traveler there is always lots of work we need helping hands for. You can exchange room and board in the volunteer house for work such as organic gardening, tending the grounds, chopping and stacking firewood, painting, caring for the animals etc. We have numerous possibilities not listed here, so let us know what you have offer!
The volunteer house is a private, colorful hostel like home and is located perfectly to overlook the mountains, close to Kootenay Lake. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 large living areas as well as a big garden and fire pit.
We provide all food and share our homegrown organic vegetables.
