Timbuktu

we are

Before finding Timbuktu in 2005, Angelika and Sönke were living in Berlin, Germany. Over the years they have both been actively involved in supporting social programs in various communities and through their travels they have been able to bring valuable aid to people in need of assistance.

Angelika is a trained therapist and has a Master’s in Psychology. Sönke’s passion has always been music in many different ways. Their son Niko was born in 2006.

The Kootenay’s have become their home and since their arrival they have been continuously developing their property into becoming the dream they had envisioned - to share the beauty of this place with others and  to create a platform to experiment, play, share and learn.

Timbuktu also created the East Shore Project.
